ScanStation 500 Customer Satisfaction Module

New remote Administration

The remote administration functionality will communicate with SS500s over the HTTP (web) protocol thereby limiting access to the scanners and utilizing the encapsulation benefits of the HTTP protocol.

+ Additional upgrades

• The Sent/Received fax numbers and date stamp are appended to each page of the fax
• Ability to scan in duplex and print directly to a printer in duplex (the default was simplex)
• Ability to configure the "Done - Do you want to remove your current selections" that is displayed at the end of scanning (Fast Scanning Mode)
• Search capability added to Tasks
• Ability to add more pages to the batch configurable
• Ability to recover from a jam without having to rescan
• Removed testing the configuration organizer and Remote Administration on Windows 2000
• Corrected the problem that the Scanner failed to set modem country code in OS level when receiving fax enabled
• Corrected that the old version of the Turkish keyboard was supported
• Corrected that when threshold is set to 100, it displayed
• Corrected the procedure in the Admin Guide "connecting to a network printer that is directly connected to the network"

Kodak Capture Pro 2.5 release

New features of Kodak Capture Pro

The Kodak Capture Pro 2.5 has many new features:

• Indexing API: create custom rules to validate/populate index fields
• Use last index value instead of retyping : great for service bureaus
• OCR engine : faster, more accurate – your choice !
• OCR : add you own jargon into the dictionary
• OCR : use multiple languages at the same time
• OCR : output as full text
• Tracking : image output stamping with indexes
• More capture data for 3rd party sw
• API available for free on demand, with a full Cpro license

KODAK Capture Pro Software Auto Import Edition

A separate software, that imports all images files from folders, and applies CPro jobs – capture, index, output – doesn’t require or connect to a scanner
